Starting from geographic examination of foods across the state, we consolidated the list ranging from Ooty Varkey to Tuticorin macarons. However a few were found to be influenced by the British and to present a more delectable hamper, our team narrowed it down to snacks made in the age-old royal kitchens of Tamil Nadu. The contents were later finalised to be the infamous Srivilliputhur Milk khoa, Kovilpatti Peanut candy, Kumbakonam Soan Papdi, Tirunelveli Halwa all packed in eco-friendly pouches encased in a coir box with traditional floor weaving. Celebrating Diwali got more special with sweets from different cities!
